Azelle Rodney died when specialist firearms officers opened fire from close range on the car in which he was travelling on 30th April 2005. In the forthcoming inquiry Samantha Leek represents the officer who fired the fatal shot and Jason Beer and Alan Payne represent the Metropolitan Police.

Samantha is described as “possibly without equal” in terms of her specialism in firearms by Chambers and Partners.
