Matthew Holdcroft is instructed by Pro-Tect Systems, who supplied Tasers to the Police Service, in the Inquest into the Death of Raoul Moat. Raoul Moat died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound following the deployment of an X-Rep Taser during a stand off with the police at Rothbury in Northumbria. The X-Rep Taser had never been deployed in an active situation in the UK before and was awaiting approval from the Home Office.

The hearing commences on 5 September 2011 and is listed before Mr. Mitford and a jury for 4 weeks at the Newcastle Crown Court.
